Interiors designers the world over, tend to agree wallpaper is best used in rooms you don’t spend the majority of your time. The reason being it can be overwhelming to see color and pattern constantly. It’s a big commitment (by the way, I’m a firm believer rules are meant to be broken and there are definitely ways to enjoy wallpaper in any room). Powder rooms see a lot of wallpaper for this reason. But I am here to show you just how fabulous they can be in a closet! So much so, that you may decide to take that door off, and if you don’t, it’s like a surprise every time it’s opened.

I’ve found when it comes to wallpapering a closet, scale is everything. Murals can be tricky, because your favorite part of the mural may likely be covered by a coat or bag.
