Holiday Home Tour 2021
Since the dust has settled on our kitchen renovation, we’ve shifted our focus to enjoying some holiday decorating!
This year, we agreed to put a small tree in our daughters room and I’m pretty sure we have set a precedent for life now. She loves it!
Our biggest tree is actually in the dining room this year, and just barely fits! I love the way the white pops against the dark wall.
If you recall from my recent Christmas tree post, I was looking for some unexpected things to put on the tree this year. I settled on 3 from my post: feathers as a tree topper, eucalyptus and mini photos
I used dried eucalyptus, but they are still very fragrant!
I found these burnt orange feathers in the floral department at Hobby Lobby. They really make this tree ready for the party!
The mini frames I already had from my mini fridge gallery wall DIY. Since painting my fridge, I wanted to give these a new life, so I removed the magnet and used a hot glue gun to add a gold pipe cleaner as the loop!
I usually try to wait until after Christmas to snag any new decorations, but I couldn’t pass these candle holders up!
And so fun to be able to see all of this reflected in our kitchen sink mirror!
For our bedroom, I used 3M clips to add a swag of greenery around the headboard panel
I can’t resist a good santa pillow!
Adding some greenery to vintage bud vases is so pretty for holiday vignettes!
My office, when clean, is technically the ideal spot for wrapping presents. I guess this will give me the motivation to keep it clean??!! LOL
I found this vintage 1950s, Santa blow mold about 6 years ago. It’s such a rare find that I haven’t been able to part with it. He always makes me smile when I enter this hallway!
Wishing you all a happy holiday season!!
